Particle Image Velocimetry

Specific instrumentation:

High-speed stereoscopic PIV system from LaVision which includes a dual-cavity Pegasus laser with a maximum repetition rate of 10kHz per cavity and two 10-bit monocrome HighSpeedStar5 cameras, each with 8Gb memory and a maximum (single) frame rate of 3kHz at the full resolution of 1024 x 1024 pixels. The maximum frame rate is 250 kHz at 128x16 pixels.
